Magaly Garza

I was born in Monterrey, Mexico. That's where it got started.
I remember growing up surrounded by colors and textures that will later be an influence in my paintings. My work is characterized by the use of exuberant colors, inspired by my boundless passion towards the world, values and traditions. 

My paintings are full of emotions and energy. I strongly believe that each painting carries a piece of me, a blend of emotions and colors that I experience at the time of painting.

I have been inspired to portray the world that surrounds me with images filling my canvases with the intense, brilliant, and typically Mexican colors that mirror the emotions of my heart.  My life and my work intertwine.  In a way, all my works talk about color and memories.
